Woods & Wildlife Conferences

Person speaking to a classroom of adult students

These long-running full-day conferences provide information, tools, and personal contacts to help private woodland owners keep their woods, and the wildlife that live in them, healthy and productive.

A variety of topics are offered to appeal to owners of both small and large tracts, and both new and experienced owners.

Two dates and two locations to choose from:

  • Southwest Virginia - Wytheville
  • Presentations
  • Northern Virginia - February 24 - Culpeper
  • Program is full. Please call 540-231-6391 to be added to a wait list.

To date, over 2,500 woodland owners have attended a Woods & Wildlife Conference.  Here's what they are saying about the events:

The best things about this conference were: focused time to learn about specific issues, practical topics for landowners, meeting other participants and the presenters....a friendly place to learn!

Great array of topics - all of which provided information for the small acreage landowner.

Amazing presenters!
