Each year, the VFLEP partners with Virginia Cooperative Extension, the Virginia Department of Forestry, the Virginia Forestry Association and others to offer workshops and conferences on a variety of topics pertinent to forest landowners.

Information on the 14th Annual Woods & Wildlife Conference in 2018 will be available in December of 2017.

The 2017 Virginia Forestry Summit will be held May 3-5 in Roanoke. Registration will open in March. A special landowner track will focus on new and emerging opportunities for woodland owners, passing land on to the next generation, and a field trip to a nearby Tree Farm.
